Clarinetist Meighan Stoops joined the Da Capo Chamber Players in 2002 shortly after graduating from Yale University. Ms. Stoops has recorded for CRI, Naxos, Albany, and Northbranch Records and can be heard on the soundtrack for Muhammed: Legacy of a Prophet, a PBS documentary with music by Martin Bresnick. Ensembles with which Ms. Stoops has appeared include: the Orion and Colorado quartets, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, Sequitur, non sequitur, Ensemble Sospeso, and the Quintet of the Americas.
